Smith Katzenstein Part of Trial Team in $1.4 Million Jury Verdict

January 17, 2017. Following a five-day trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, a Delaware federal jury awarded Smith Katzenstein client, IOENGINE, LLC (“IOENGINE”), $1.4 million in damages, finding that the patent held by IOENGINE was valid and was infringed by defendant Interactive Media Corp. (“IMC”).  IOENGINE sued IMC, which does business as Kanguru Solutions, for patent infringement involving secure USB devices.  IOENGINE was represented by Neal Belgam and Eve Ormerod.
