Delaware’s Bankruptcy Court is a leading jurisdiction for filing large and complex Chapter 11 cases and Chapter 7 proceedings. SKJ has represented the full range of secured and unsecured creditors and equity holders in such proceedings, including, trade creditors, equipment lessors, utility providers, landlords, tort claimants and indentured trustees. We also have substantial expertise advising officers, directors and employees of companies in bankruptcy matters.
SKJ routinely defends fraudulent conveyance and preference cases in an efficient, cost effective manner. One of our partners has served as Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustee in the Delaware Bankruptcy Court, investigating potential wrongdoing by the former management, among other things.
