On June 4, 2026, Wilmington City Council confirmed Mayor John Carney’s appointment of Bob Katzenstein to the Wilmington Ethics Commission. Bob commented: “I have been a Wilmington city resident for 48 years. I am very proud of this appointment. Wilmington residents look to the Ethics Commission to administer and implement the City Employees’ and Elected and Appointed Officials Code of Conduct. I will work as hard as I can to fulfill the responsibilities that Mayor Carney and Council have given to me.”
