Smith Katzenstein Part of Trial Team in $11 Million Jury Verdict

February 21, 2017. A Delaware federal jury awarded Smith Katzenstein client, IOENGINE, LLC (“IOENGINE”), $11 million in damages after a five-day jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, finding that the patent held by IOENGINE was valid and was infringed by defendant Imation Corp. (“Imation”).  IOENGINE sued Imation for patent infringement involving secure USB devices.  IOENGINE was represented by Neal Belgam and Eve Ormerod.
